About Me: I’ve often been asked why I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate. Growing up in Barrhaven and having watched the then small section of Ottawa gradually expand into the large suburban region it is today always fascinated me in my younger years and continues to up to this day. As I grew older, that paired with an interest in financial investing and development made my decision to become a Realtor in 2010 a simple one. They seemed like the perfect fit! Described as a “people person” and having been born and raised here in Ottawa I have a number of strong personal and professional ties to this beautiful city. I’ve spent a majority of my life living in the South and West ends of Ottawa but through my 6+ years of experience working in the Ottawa real estate market, my in depth and thorough knowledge of the ever evolving real estate landscape stretches from one end of the Greater Ottawa Area to the other. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients over the years, and my main goal has always been to make their home buying or selling experience not only a profitable one, but an enjoyable one as well. Every day I strive to go beyond their expectations and ensure that they are 100% satisfied with the services I provide them, start to finish. It’s often joked about that Realtors also play the role of part time psychiatrist, helping their clients navigate through the emotions and ups and downs of buying and selling what to many is the largest financial investment of their lives. I couldn’t agree more and see this aspect of a Realtor’s work as one of the most critical. I make sure to make myself available to all my clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and don’t see my career as a Realtor as simply a job but more of an extension of myself. A majority of my business is based on the referrals of happy, satisfied clients and that is exactly how I’d like it to be. The feeling of knowing you’ve helped someone make a well thought out, informed decision is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job and what keeps me motivated time after time. About Me: In business since 2008, I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of Buyers and Sellers from all walks of life. I have helped relocating families, first time home buyers, growing families, downsizing and retiring couples, investors in single and multifamily units and much more. Born as an East Coaster in Truro, Nova Scotia and having lived in Montreal, Ottawa is the perfect compromise between small town and big city life. Growing up in a military family, I was thrilled to land in this beautiful town in 1993 at the age of 9. Studying International Business gave me a vast understanding and excitement for the inner workings of businesses large and small. What never struck a chord with me was being permanently international. Ottawa is home. I love the idea that my career is based on helping others find their “home”. The excitement on a client’s face when they’ve found the house that feels like home is the reason I’ve stayed in this industry. As life sometimes throws us curve balls, I appreciate that this is sometimes a bitter sweet decision to buy or sell a home. I make it my mission to help my clients every step of the way with sensitivity and time to make the move at their own pace. Those have been some of my most solid relationships. I pride myself on being an excellent negotiator and ensuring my clients ALWAYS get a great deal. I know that I’ll be working with most of my clients multiple times throughout their lives as they transition, so I make sure to deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships.
